01. A new heart \u2013 Do you have a heart for missions? A desire to see other<\/span><\/p>

people giving their lives to Christ? If not, pray that God will give you a new<\/span><\/p>

heart. (Ezekiel 36:26)<\/span><\/p>

02. Stay focused \u2013 The key to succeed as a Christian is to keep your eyes<\/span><\/p>

focused on Jesus. And remember: He has promised to never take His eyes from<\/span><\/p>

you. Give thanks to God that He has promised to never fail you nor forsake you.<\/span><\/p>

(1 Chronicles 28:20)<\/span><\/p>

03. Undeserved \u2013 The triune God has done amazing things for you, and for all<\/span><\/p>

human beings, even though none of us deserved them. Praise Him today and<\/span><\/p>

give Him thanks for saving you! (Psalms 105:1,2)<\/span><\/p>

04. Equipped \u2013 God wants you to become more like Him, and He wants you to<\/span><\/p>

be thoroughly equipped for every good work. Pray that the Holy Spirit will<\/span><\/p>

transform you from within to become the man God intended you to be.<\/span><\/p>

(2 Timothy 3:16,17<\/span><\/p>

05. Fighting \u2013 \u201cWhat is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not<\/span><\/p>

the source your pleasures that wage war in your members?\u201d(James 4:1) As long<\/span><\/p>

as our hearts and minds aren\u2019t surrendered to the lordship of Christ, we are<\/span><\/p>

prone to be dominated by our own fleshly lust. Allow for Christ to be the<\/span><\/p>

captain of your soul.<\/span><\/p>

06. War \u2013 \u201cAnd there was war in heaven, Michael and his angles waging war<\/span><\/p>

with the dragon\u2026and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven\u201d<\/span><\/p>

(Revelation 12:7). Satan is the source for evil and fiercely resists God\u2019s rule.<\/span><\/p>

Soon God will create a new heaven and earth. Surrender to His lordship and you<\/span><\/p>

will reign with Him forever.<\/span><\/p>

07. End times \u2013 \u201cAnd you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars\u2026but that<\/span><\/p>

is not yet the end\u201d (Matthew 24:6). Today there are more than 110 armed<\/span><\/p>

conflicts in our world (RULAC). This and other facts Jesus mentioned in Matt.<\/span><\/p>

24. They are the \u201cbeginnings of birth pains\u201d but not the end yet. Men, stand<\/span><\/p>

firm in the faith in order to be saved.<\/span><\/p>

08. Drowsiness \u2013 \u201cNow while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got<\/span><\/p>

drowsy and began to sleep\u201d (Matthew 25:5). Patience is a weak point for most<\/span><\/p>

men. We like action! But Christ\u2019s return is not on our timetable. Nevertheless,<\/span><\/p>

His order to work until He comes remains. Pray to not get drowsy but be a<\/span><\/p>

witness and get involved in missions.<\/span><\/p>

09. Irrational hate \u2013 \u201cThe thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy\u201d<\/span><\/p>

(John 10:10a). Since the holocaust the world has not seen hatred as demonic,<\/span><\/p>

irrational, and satanic as the deadly, antisemitism assault in the Middle East.<\/span><\/p>

The hatred of Jews is as old as Satan\u2019s hatred and jealousy of God. Pray for the<\/span><\/p>

innocent victims.<\/span><\/p>

10. Amazing love \u2013 \u201cBut God demonstrates his own love towards us, in that<\/span><\/p>

while we were still sinners, Christ died for us\u201d (Romans 5:8). In His amazing love,<\/span><\/p>

God has rescued fallen humanity from the claws of Satan. Share the Gospel<\/span><\/p>

with your friends and family. Nobody is excluded from God\u2019s offer of<\/span><\/p>

redemption.<\/span><\/p>

11. The unreached \u2013 \u201cTherefore go and make disciples of all nations\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/p>

(Matthew 28:19). There are over 6,000 unreached people groups, about 3<\/span><\/p>

billion people, who have not heard the Gospel. Pray for the Church, the bride of<\/span><\/p>

Christ, to awake from its drowsiness and you be willing to be a man who obeys<\/span><\/p>

the Great Commission of Christ.<\/span><\/p>

12. Trouble \u2013 \u201cIn the world you have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome<\/span><\/p>

the world\u201d (John 16:33). You are not alone in your trouble! To be alive means to<\/span><\/p>

face adversities. Don\u2019t try to hide. Take the Lord at His Word and trust Him to<\/span><\/p>

equip you in such a way that you are able to confront your problems in His<\/span><\/p>

wisdom and might.<\/span><\/p>

13. Distress \u2013 \u201cIn my distress I called for the Lord; I cried to my God for help\u201d<\/span><\/p>

(Psalms 18:6). Sometimes God doesn\u2019t answer our prayers because we are not<\/span><\/p>

ready for what He has to say. Therefore, never stop trusting Him. He hears you.<\/span><\/p>

All the great men of faith discovered God\u2019s amazing greatness through<\/span><\/p>

brokenness and distress.<\/span><\/p>

14. Anguish \u2013 \u201cI will speak out in the anguish of my spirit\u201d (Job 7:11). Very few<\/span><\/p>

people experience the intensity of suffering like Job. But God allowed it for a<\/span><\/p>

purpose. He trusted Job\u2019s integrity and that he would not denounce his faith<\/span><\/p>

because of what he suffered. Pray to also be a man who trusts the Lord no<\/span><\/p>

matter what.<\/span><\/p>

15. Anger \u2013 \u201cIn your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your<\/span><\/p>

hearts and be silent\u201d (Psalms 4:4). You have heard it before: \u201cThink before you<\/span><\/p>

speak. Don\u2019t act in the heat of the moment.\u201d But God\u2019s advice is more than<\/span><\/p>

self-control. He wants to reveal our hidden motives. Allow Him to speak silently<\/span><\/p>

into your night.<\/span><\/p>

16. Anxiety \u2013 \u201cCast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you\u201d<\/span><\/p>

(1 Peter 5:7). If you are a worrier, then you know how hard it is to let go of your<\/span><\/p>

concern. The Bible orders us to let go, to throw our anxiety on the Lord. It\u2019s an<\/span><\/p>

effort of your faith and will. Believe that the Lord always fulfills His promise.<\/span><\/p>

Trust Him!<\/span><\/p>

17. Advance \u2013 \u201cWith your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I<\/span><\/p>

can scale a wall\u201d (Psalms 18:29). King David had been persecuted and haunted<\/span><\/p>

by his enemies for years and knew what he was talking about. Pray to also be<\/span><\/p>

a man who lives for God. He wants to use you as a leader in your family and<\/span><\/p>

your world today.<\/span><\/p>

18. Seek \u2013 Amazing! We can choose to seek the Lord and He promised to let<\/span><\/p>

Himself be found. “You will seek me and find me when you search for me with<\/span><\/p>

all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). Let’s pray that our hearts will always be<\/span><\/p>

inclined to seek the Lord’s presence! Thank you, Father, for letting Yourself be<\/span><\/p>

found!<\/span><\/p>

19. Fruit \u2013 A fruit tree is known by the fruit it produces. As Christian men we<\/span><\/p>

are challenged to bear good fruit because we are connected to Christ, the true<\/span><\/p>

vine (John 15:5). Pray for Christ, who lives in you, to produce the fruit of His<\/span><\/p>

Spirit through you: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.<\/span><\/p>

20. Different \u2013 Bricks are produced by placing clay in a mold. After they are<\/span><\/p>

dried, they are all the same. The world tries to mold us into its culture and way<\/span><\/p>

of life. The Bible calls us not to take the world’s \u201cmold,\u201d but to live according to<\/span><\/p>

God’s will. (Romans 12:2) Lord, grant us discernment and the courage to live by<\/span><\/p>

Your standards.<\/span><\/p>

21. Provision \u2013 Times of unemployment or lack of resources can bring<\/span><\/p>

difficult times for the family. The Bible says: “You, Lord, will keep him in perfect<\/span><\/p>

peace whose purpose is firm, because he trusts in you” (Isaiah 26:3). Lord, we<\/span><\/p>

pray for peace, direction, and Your provision for men who are looking for work<\/span><\/p>

and a livelihood.<\/span><\/p>

22. Parenting \u2013 Children are a gift from God, and there is a tremendous<\/span><\/p>

responsibility for parents in raising them. “He who rebukes someone will find<\/span><\/p>

more favor afterwards than he who only flatters” (Proverbs 28:23). Lord, give<\/span><\/p>

parents courage and perseverance in raising their children according to Your<\/span><\/p>

purposes.<\/span><\/p>

23. The New Covenant \u2013 Dear God, I am grateful for the New Covenant of<\/span><\/p>

Your indwelling life. You replaced my old evil heart with Your Holy Spirit. You are<\/span><\/p>

no longer standing beside me to guide me; but now, Your Spirit is resident<\/span><\/p>

within me enabling me to know and do Your will. I want to walk in Your ways.<\/span><\/p>

(Hebrews 8:8-10)<\/span><\/p>

24. A fruitful life \u2013 Oh Lord Jesus, I thought I was doing a good job. Now I<\/span><\/p>

realize that the best I can do is produce the dead works of the flesh, which are<\/span><\/p>

void of life. You are the life-source. Therefore, I ask You to abide in me, make<\/span><\/p>

Yourself at home in me and live Your life through me. Thank You, Lord, for a<\/span><\/p>

fruitful life! (John 15:4)<\/span><\/p>

25. The mystery of godliness \u2013 Almighty God, the mystery of godliness is<\/span><\/p>

one of the greatest mysteries of all. How amazing that a holy God would<\/span><\/p>

indwell our humanity. Jesus solved the mystery when He died on the cross for<\/span><\/p>

us. My evil nature was replaced with Your divine nature. Thank you for<\/span><\/p>

indwelling me. (Colossians 1:26,27)<\/span><\/p>

26. Laboring in the Lord \u2013 Oh Lord, I thought my good works mattered.<\/span><\/p>

However, now I realize that the works of Christ are what really matters because<\/span><\/p>

only His works last. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for imparting Your life to me. Now I<\/span><\/p>

can labor in Your strength. Please accomplish Your great and mighty works<\/span><\/p>

through me. (Colossians 1:29)<\/span><\/p>

27. The source of your work \u2013 Lord Jesus, You explained that God the<\/span><\/p>

Father, who indwelled You, was the sole source of your activity. Since I have<\/span><\/p>

received You, the Spirit of God indwells me. Just as You lived in total<\/span><\/p>

dependency upon Your Father, I yield the control of my life to You so that You<\/span><\/p>

can work through me. (John 14:10)<\/span><\/p>

28. Blindness \u2013 \u201cThe god of this world has blinded the unbelieving\u201d<\/span><\/p>

(2 Corinthians 4:4). How we wished it were different! But the reality is that only<\/span><\/p>

believing in Jesus Christ and His Word makes one able to discern what God\u2019s will<\/span><\/p>

is. Christ is the light of the world. Be a man who consciously submits to the<\/span><\/p>

Lord. Walk humbly with your God.<\/span><\/p>

29. Government \u2013 \u201cRender to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due;<\/span><\/p>

custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor\u201d<\/span><\/p>

(Romans 13:7). In Romans 13:1-7 the Bible refers to government that uses the<\/span><\/p>

rule of law for good. Pray for those in authority and be a man whose dealings<\/span><\/p>

reflect a good citizen.<\/span><\/p>

30. Blindfolded \u2013 \u201cFor my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways<\/span><\/p>

My ways, declares the Lord\u201d (Isaiah 55:8). When you feel like you are blindfolded<\/span><\/p>

in life without understanding why things happen to you, trust God\u2019s wisdom<\/span><\/p>

and loving motivation. He is God and close to those who call on Him and He will<\/span><\/p>

still surprise you.<\/span><\/p>

31. Medal of honor \u2013 The highest military decoration goes to individuals who<\/span><\/p>

exhibit courage, sacrifice, patriotism, citizenship, integrity and commitment.<\/span><\/p>

Today, as the tsunami of immorality and ungodliness sweeps the world, God is<\/span><\/p>

searching for men who build up the wall and stand in the gap before Him for<\/span><\/p>
