Lord Jesus, your grace is amazing! There is nothing that I can do to earn your salvation; you did it all. My privilege is simply to receive it by faith. Thank you, Lord, for this marvelous gift! “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8).

2. Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for giving me the capacity of faith to trust you. My faith in you allows you to work through me. You said that as your Father worked, so you worked. And now that you live in me, I trust you to work through me. “Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone” (James 2:17).

3. My great God, thank you for your perfect timing. You sent Jesus Christ into the world at just the right time. So, I am confident that your timing for me will always be perfect. Therefore, I trust you to work through me in just the right way, at just the right time. “But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son” (Galatians 4:4).

4. Dear God, I am grateful that you have provided me with an entirely new way of walking. I am no longer dependent on my limited sight to conduct my life. Now I have access to your limitless point of view. You see everything. Therefore, I can walk by faith in dependency upon you to guide me. “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).

5. My precious Lord, You are always looking out for me. When I am going in the wrong direction, you offer reproof. You enable me to do what is right. That is pure grace. You pour out your Holy Spirit upon me so that I can know your words and follow your leading. “Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my Spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you” (Proverbs 1:23).

6. Changing our own attitude and personality is difficult, not to say impossible. However, nothing is impossible for God. If you are desperate enough to ask him to do it for you, he will put the Holy Spirit into your heart and transform you from inside out (Luke 11:13).

7. When Joshua was facing the giants in his life by taking over after Moses as the leader of the Israelites, he had good reasons to fear the future. But God promised to be with him. May God’s word to Joshua comfort you today (Joshua 1:9).

8. God hates pride and selfishness. Pray today that God will grant you a humble heart and mind so that you are able to receive his grace abundantly (Proverbs 3:34).

9. When we do things that we should not have done, we often tend to blame the circumstances. But the Bible tells us the truth. It all comes from within ourselves (Mark 7:21). Let us pray that God will cleanse us from within and create in us clean hearts.

10. The only way to become more like Christ is to live in close fellowship with him. Nurture your mind with Scripture and allow for his Spirit to be the arbiter in your heart (1 John 1:3).

11. Men are regularly bombarded with inappropriate images that breed lust. Pray to be more intentional about your mental disciplines, finding your strength in the power of the Holy Spirit (Philippians 4:8-13).

12. Men are visually stimulated. Today’s culture of immodesty is not accommodating for a godly man. Be on your guard and pray for the willpower to remain pure in thought (Matthew 5:28).

13. God’s Word provides the defense we need to combat sin. Be a student of the Bible; memorize key verses that will aid in achieving victory. Pray the Word in your heart (Psalm 119:11).

14. God has provided the armor for every Christian to be protected and equipped in spiritual battles. Pray for a ready, militant spirit against sin and temptation in your own life (Ephesians 6:10-18).

15. The apostle Paul lived in such a way as to have a conscience “void of offense toward God and man.” Adopt this same attitude and ask the Lord to make you strong in living out the Christian disciplines (Acts 24:16).

16. Revelation 4:8 unveils four angels in heaven who constantly proclaim “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come!” Since we still sin, our prayers would not merit God’s attention. However, in Christ we have full forgiveness and open access to the throne of grace (Ephesians 2:18). Trust the Holy Spirit to guide you in prayer today.

17. The four majestic angels of Revelation 4:8 worship the one who is called “Lord God Almighty.” As we pray, we need to remember that God is sovereign and all-powerful. This attitude of praise in prayer turns life’s obstacles into prayer opportunities.

18. The glimpse of heavenly worship in Revelation 4:8 recognizes that the true and living God is eternal: “Who was, and is, and is to come!” This is the same God who listened to and answered the prayers of Noah, Abraham, Elijah and Nehemiah. We pray in the tradition of the apostles, trusting that God is available to us today and will continue to accomplish his plan in the future.

19. As we pray for believers who hear TWR broadcasts, we trust the Holy Spirit to use the scriptural programs to encourage hearts. In spite of the persecution and affliction suffered by many, God will demonstrate his faithfulness. Philippians 1:6 promises that we can be “confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

20. “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8; see Hebrews 2:14). During Christ’s earthly ministry, Satan suffered one defeat after another and was ultimately conquered at the cross (Colossians 2:15). As we pray, we intercede from a position of triumph, enforcing God’s victory in specific, strategic ways.

21. Pray for Christian men in Africa to stand up in defense of women and girls who face the shame and distress of domestic violence, rape, nonexistent property rights, forced marriages, child marriages, early pregnancy and wife inheritance, by which a woman is forced to marry her dead husband’s relative (Proverbs 31:8).

22. Pray for God to convict stepfathers and other male relatives who abuse young girls in their families. Some girls run away from home to escape the abuse. Pray for Christian men to take the initiative to provide safe havens and to protect the young girls from these terrible acts (Matthew 25:40).

23. Pray for Namibian prison chaplains to allow Project Hannah women to visit female prisoners. And pray for Dolly Vapanda, Project Hannah’s Namibia coordinator, as she organizes these visits (Matthew 25:35-36).

24. Pray for Christian men in Germany to be bold and wise as they take the initiative to prevent the persecution and mistreatment by religious extremists of Christians living in refugee camps in that country (Proverbs 10:12).

25. Pray for a spiritual revival among Christian men in Swaziland in order to be agents of change in their culture, which in many ways oppresses women. Polygamy, rape and intimidation leave women vulnerable to HIV infection. Swaziland has the highest HIV/AIDS rate in the world (Ezekiel 3:18).

26. The Lord wants men to be intercessors for those in positions of leadership and government, according to 1 Timothy 2:1-4. Be a man who lifts up holy hands in prayer (1 Timothy 2:8).

27. Praise the Lord that all 52 episodes of Champions Arise in English, TWR’s broadcast for men, are now on the twr360.org and championsarise.org websites. Pray for resources to enable the project to be further developed in Albania, Russia, Ukraine and Africa (Psalm 147:15).

28. Pray for the ongoing production of the Brazilian version of Champions Arise. The translation and contextualization of the scripts is ready and the first programs available on the website transmundial.org.br/chamadosavitoria. The number of users of the CA prayer calendar is growing, and the handbooks for discipleship training are ready to go to print (Revelations 3:8).

29. Praise the Lord for the impact of Champions Arise in South Africa. Petro, the producer in the Zulu language, writes: “Each time we are in the studio doing recordings, we experience God working in our lives even before programs go out for broadcast.” Pray that many listeners of CA will have the same experience of God speaking into their lives (Hebrews 4:12).

30. Pray for persecuted Christians to experience the supernatural power of Christ in their suffering, as shown in Matthew 5:11. Open Doors reports that monthly 322 Christians are killed for their faith, 214 churches and Christian properties are destroyed, and 772 forms of violence are committed against Christians.

31. Corruption occurs when entrusted power is abused for private gain. It permeates society on all levels, undermines trust and creates a chain reaction of social maladies. Pray for a moral and spiritual revival and for government officials to recognize their responsibility before the almighty judge of the earth (Galatians 6:7).

1.
