CA men\u2019s prayer calendar July 2023- FINAL VERSION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

01. Enduring Faith <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cDear Lord, adjust my thinking from walking by sight to\u00a0 walking by faith. Now that Christ lives in me, I have the spiritual eyes necessary\u00a0 to see God. Therefore, cause me to see You working in all things. Then, enable\u00a0 me to endure hardness by trusting You to work all things together for my good\u00a0 and your glory. (Hebrews 11:27)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

02. In His Service <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cDear Lord, I thought I was serving You, but now I see that\u00a0 my fleshly efforts were only producing dead works. Thank You, Lord, for showing\u00a0 me that I am Yours and You are in me. I gladly make myself available to You, so\u00a0 that You can accomplish Your good works through me.\u201d (Acts 27:23)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

03. The Lord\u2019s Presence <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cDear Lord Jesus, I once thought I only needed You  when things got bad. But now that Your presence indwells me, I realize that I  must depend upon You for everything. Thank You for joining Yourself to me in an  inseparable bond so that Your presence permanently resides in me.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Exodus 33:15) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

04. God\u2019s protection <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cOh God, at times it seems like everyone is against me.\u00a0 But I know that no one can really crush me because You are for me! The mighty\u00a0 power of Your presence is within me to protect me. Cause me to keep my focus\u00a0 on Your indwelling presence rather than the enemies around me.\u201d (Psalms 9:3)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

05. Life is for Living <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cLord Jesus, I am grateful that when I received You as my\u00a0 Lord and Savior, You came to indwell me. You, the Lord of Life, have now come\u00a0 to be my life. Therefore, I entrust my life to You to live your life through me. I\u00a0 pray that You will have Your way with me and make Yourself known through\u00a0 me!\u201d (Galatians 2:20)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

06. Worry <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cI say to you do not be worried about your life\u2026\u201d (Matthew 6:25).\u00a0 A disciple of Jesus doesn\u2019t have to worry. His life is secure in the hands of the\u00a0 ONE who rules the universe and will supply for all his needs. Say NO to worries!\u00a0 Ask the Lord for wisdom to discern the leading of His Spirit and follow His\u00a0 direction no matter what.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

07. Temptation <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cNo temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to\u00a0 man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you\u00a0 are able\u2026\u201d (1Corinthians 10:13a). We live in a fallen world and are susceptible to\u00a0 temptations. But you can always rely on the Lord in the storms of life. He hears\u00a0 your prayers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

08. God is faithful <\/strong>\u2013 \u201c\u2026but with the temptation (God) will provide the way of\u00a0 escape also, so that you will be able to endure\u201d (1Corinthians 10:13b). When the\u00a0 prince of darkness wants to extinguish your faith and hurls his fiery darts of\u00a0 unbelieve and fear at you, cling to the Lord and his word. He wants to bless you\u00a0 and will show you the escape.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

09. Resentment <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cLove does not take into account a wrong suffering\u201d\u00a0 (1Corinthians 13:5b). Resentment leads to bitterness and poisons relationships.\u00a0 Man, allow the Lord to pour out his love through you and learn to forgive as He\u00a0 has forgiven you before unforgiveness makes you its prisoner and you lose the\u00a0 joy of your salvation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Procrastination <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cTherefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men\u00a0 but wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil\u201d (Ephesians 5:15.16). Don\u2019t be swept away by the urgent, missing out on the\u00a0 important. With God\u2019s help you can order your days, make time to listen to the\u00a0 Lord, and then honor Him in all you do.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. Loneliness <\/strong>\u2013 In spite of social media and our fast-paced lifestyle the  majority of young adults feel lonely today. In fact, nothing this world can offer is  enough to fill the \u201cGod-shaped hole\u201d everybody has in his heart. Allow for Jesus  to be your center today. \u201cFor He himself has said, \u2018I will never leave you nor  forsake you.\u201d (Hebrews 13:5)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. Jealousy <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cWhen we allow for God\u2019s love to fill our heart, we have chosen\u00a0 the most precious gift. He will bless us with contentment in spite of our\u00a0 circumstances. Don\u2019t be a complainer, nor harbor jealousy. It will only ruin you\u00a0 and your family. \u201cA sound heart is life to the body, but envy is rottenness to the\u00a0 bones.\u201d (Proverbs14:30)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13. Guilt <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cTherefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed\u201d\u00a0 (John 8:36). We all are guilty before God and often become guilty towards\u00a0 others. Praise God for His forgiveness through faith in the redemptive work of\u00a0 Christ on the cross. Ask the Lord for help to forgive your debtors and reconcile\u00a0 quickly if you have become guilty\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14. Fear <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cThe Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?\u201d\u00a0 (Psalms 118:6) Whatever your trouble, be it war or persecution, be it the loss of\u00a0 your job or poverty and hunger, be it sickness or even death, – if you have put\u00a0 your faith in Jesus, He will see you through. \u201cWhoever trust in the Lord shall be\u00a0 safe.\u201d (Proverbs 29:25)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

15. Failure <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cAs a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has\u00a0 compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he\u00a0 remembers that we are dust\u201d (Psalms 103:13.14) Allow for the Lord to redirect\u00a0 your focus. Stop concentrating on your failures; believe that He loves you! His\u00a0 grace is enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

16. Doubt <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cBlessed are they who did not see, and yet believed\u201d (John 20:29b). Praise the Lord that He is a merciful God who comes to us when  we are broken in heart and contrite in spirit. He wants to answer your sincere  doubts. \u201cThe name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous run into it and is  safe.\u201d (Proverbs 18:10) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

17. Discouragement <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cFrom the end of the earth I will cry to you, when my\u00a0 heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I\u201d (Psalms 61:2).\u00a0 When you have done your best and it is still is far from enough, don\u2019t give up.\u00a0 Instead ask the Lord for His perspective. He makes all things work out for good\u00a0 if you love Him first.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

18. Anger <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cBe angry and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your  anger\u201d (Ephesians 4:26). There is righteous anger. God himself is angry at the  wicked every day (Psalms 7:11). But He is holy and we are not. Don\u2019t let anger  fester. If you have a hot temper and are easily angered, ask the Lord to teach you  true meekness of heart. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

19. Love <\/strong>\u2013 God dearly loves people who have not yet heard about Jesus. Pray  that you will succeed in being a vessel of God\u2019s love, helping Him to get in touch  with many who haven\u2019t heard yet through you. (James 4:5) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

20. Concern <\/strong>\u2013 As Christs ambassadors on planet Earth, you are commissioned\u00a0 to share the Gospel with people who have not yet heard it proclaimed. Pray that\u00a0 God will burden you with His concern for a lost world; and show you where and\u00a0 how he can use you in the most fruitiful way possible. (Matthew 28:18-20)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

21. Fellowship <\/strong>\u2013 Like pieces of wood in the stove keep the fire burning, we\u00a0 need to encourage each other as followers of Christ. Pray that you will find\u00a0 fellow believers to lean on. And pray that God will use you to bring blessing and\u00a0 encouragement to other Christians. (Hebrews 13:1)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

22. Opportunities <\/strong>\u2013 Some people pray every morning for an opportunity to\u00a0 meet a person before the end of the day that they can invite into the Lord\u2019s\u00a0 presence. Thank God that He raises up such diligent evangelists. (Colossians 4:2-3)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

23. Restoration <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cHe restores my soul\u2026\u201d (Psalms 23:3a). When we take time\u00a0 to be in God\u2019s presence and open our heart and life to him, we will experience\u00a0 relief. The Almighty wants us to be close to him, because he delights in blessing\u00a0 us. Be ready to be restored today.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

24. Guidance <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cHe guides me in the paths of righteousness\u201d (Psalms 23:3b).\u00a0 In hindsight we can only marvel how God led us each time we sought him; and\u00a0 how our soul was refreshed. Be willing to trust Him today again!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

25. Fearless <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cEven though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I  fear no evil, for you are with me\u201d (Psalms 23:4a). Even if my life is difficult, filled  with sickness, pain, suffering and the threat of death, I know that the Lord Jesus  is with me and leads me through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

26. Comfort <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cYour rod and Your staff, they comfort me\u201d (Psalms 23:4b). What  an unspeakable joy it is to be secure in Jesus Christ. We know those moments  and circumstances that make life seem desolate and hopeless. But as we allow  for Jesus to come in, our soul is encouraged and we receive new strength and  confidence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

27. Goodness <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cSurely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days  of my life\u201d (Psalms 23:6) Because of God\u2019s goodness to me, He enables me to  pass it on to my family and the people I come in touch with. That is how God\u2019s  presence and grace wants to be reflected also in your life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

28. Light that shines <\/strong>\u2013 The prince of darkness knows that his time is short. His\u00a0 strategy is to engulf the world in immorality, rebellion, spiritual lawlessness, and\u00a0 chaos. Therefore, redeem the time\u2026\u201dLet your light shine before men in such a\u00a0 way that they may see your good works, and glorify your father in heaven.\u201d\u00a0 (Matthew 5:16)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

29. Don\u2019t shrink back <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cBut the righteous one shall live by faith; and if he\u00a0 shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him\u201d (Hebrews 10:38). When\u00a0 lawlessness abounds, the Christian and his message will be resisted. Be\u00a0 courageous! Stand your ground! Do not fear those who kill the body but are\u00a0 unable to kill the souls.\u201d (Matthew 10:28)\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

30. Prayer <\/strong>\u2013 “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). The routine of daily\u00a0 life; family. circumstances; work and more can lead man to neglect prayer.\u00a0 Prayer keeps the mind and heart alert and sensitive to face the battles that man\u00a0 faces. Lord, we ask today for a persevering and constant prayer life.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

31. Faithfulness <\/strong>\u2013 Temptations exist everywhere, and those involving man’s\u00a0 sexual and moral life are explicitly exposed. Philippians 4:7 says that “\u2026the\u00a0 peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and\u00a0 your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” Lord, help me to direct my heart and mind that I\u00a0 will always be faithful to my wife.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
